I keep gift boxes, big things of tissue paper, and Christmas bags/bows in the bottom drawer of my dresser that sits just inside the closet door. I love how easy it is to access everything! I mounted a couple of the shallower baskets at the top for bows, tape, bags, tags, etc. Geez, sounds like I’m talking about yoga pants… □ I had to fiddle with the placement of the support until it was high enough up to keep the rolls in place, but low enough that I could still get the rolls out. I mounted one of the deep shelves at the very bottom with a support about halfway up for the wrapping paper rolls. It works out well and is actually the perfect location to wrap presents away from prying, sneaky kid eyes. Our closet doors downstairs are mostly bi-fold or are super skinny, so I decided to mount it on the inside of our master bedroom closet door since it’s a standard sized door. I found this pantry door organizer (I found what appears to be the identical thing for cheaper here!) and realized that if I positioned the shelves and holders just right, it could serve as a wrapping paper holder. After much brainstorming and shopping around, I came up with a similar solution that was a third of the price! It’s really nice, however, I’m way too cheap to spend $123 on a door rack. I started hunting for solutions and kept finding this over the door storage system from The Container Store. Our coat closet is the teeny tiniest little closet in all of history, though, so we just couldn’t afford to lose all the space the wrapping supplies were taking up anymore. It started off in the playroom closet, then in more recent years, has been stored in our coat closet. I have really struggled with where to store wrapping paper in this house. ![]() I thought I’d show you some of my recent organizing projects! Today, I thought I’d show you the wrapping paper storage! The floors will be refinished next week, so we’ve been organizing all the things and packing up our entire house, getting ready to move out so the flooring people can do their thing.
